Infectious Diseases, CHA Ilsan Medical Center: The Department of Infectious Diseases of CHA Ilsan Medical Center, CHA University is carrying out meticulous care and scientific management to prevent secondary infections from other infectious diseases for patients with reduced immunity who are admitted to hospitals where various infectious factors exist. The infection control department, operated by an infectious medicine specialist and three infection control specialized nurses, conducts hospital infection investigations. Based on the results of the investigation, they are in charge of infection control in the hospital, such as providing infection control education including hand washing for all staff who are in contact with patients such as medical staff and nurses, and control of the environment causing infection.
