About Pediatrics: The Pediatrics Department at CHA Ilsan Medical Center plays a leading role in health counseling during growth and development process (from birth to infant to toddler and to adolescent), and also in disease prevention and management.

For higher quality pediatric care, Pediatrics Department provides specialized treatment in pediatric nervous system, pediatric cardiology, pediatric respiratory and allergies, pediatric infections, pediatric endocrinology, and pediatric emergencies. Specialists also examines the fetus and provides counseling in congenital heart defects during prenatal care.

Furthermore, as the necessity of intensive care for newborns increases due to the rise in high-risk pregnancies and premature births, the Pediatrics Department has established and operates a neonatal intensive care unit where specialists can diagnose and manage premature and neonatal infants more professionally and systematically.
